July 2017 – Successful launch of Soyuz-2.1A launch vehicle with Kanopus-V-IK satellite and 72 smallsats piggybacked under the federal and commercial contracts of Glavkosmos to their target orbits. Baikonur Cosmodrome, 14th of July 2017. Kazakhstan.

July 2014 – Successful Launch of TechDemoSat-1 (TDS-1), UKube-1 on Soyuz/ Fregat rocket. [see photos]

June 2014 – Successful launch of KazEOSat-2 on Dnepr rocket. Deimos-2, KazEOSat-2 and Hodoyoshi-3 and 4 were the main payloads for what was the twentieth Dnepr launch. [see photos]

August 2011 – NigeriaSat-2 and NigeriaSat-X satellites were successfully launched.

  • CST’s general director chaired a session on launch systems or launch opportunities that are specifically designed to provide access to space from small satellites.

July 2010 – UK has concluded a historic agreement with Russia.The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the UK Space Agency and the Russian Federal Space Bureau was concluded at the Farnborough Airshow on July 21st. Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL) has had a long and successful collaboration with a variety of Russian organisations spanning 20 years, working with the UK and Moscow offices of Commercial Space Technologies (CST Ltd.) as a representative and local partner. CST Moscow Office has been actively involved in the preparation of this MOU.
