CST Signs Distribution Agreement with INNOSPACE, Opening a New Launch Route for European Satellite Operators
Commercial Space Technologies Ltd (CST) has signed a distribution agreement with South Korean satellite launch service company INNOSPACE (KS:462350), adding a new launch option to the services CST can offer its customers. As an independent launch broker, CST works across the global market to match satellite operators with the right provider for their mission, and this agreement gives customers a more accessible route to INNOSPACE’s growing European launch capability.

Under the agreement, CST will support business development activities across Europe on behalf of INNOSPACE, making it easier for satellite operators to explore and procure launch services through INNOSPACE’s recently secured Malbusca Launch Center on Santa Maria Island in the Azores, Portugal. For customers looking for a European launch site with flexible scheduling and competitive pricing, this provides a straightforward, supported path to getting on the manifest.
INNOSPACE has built a global launch site network that now spans Brazil’s Alcântara Space Center, Australia’s Whalers Way Orbital Launch Complex and Koonibba Test Range, and Europe. In March 2023, the company successfully launched its test vehicle ‘HANBIT-TLV’, verifying the flight performance of its first-stage 150 kN hybrid rocket engine. Based in South Korea with offices in Brazil and France, INNOSPACE is developing hybrid rocket-powered small satellite launchers built around low cost, fast turnaround, and reliability.
CST brings over four decades of launch brokerage experience to this agreement, with more than 100 years of combined team expertise across mission management, contract negotiation, and launch campaigns. As INNOSPACE’s official distribution partner in Europe, CST can now offer customers a direct route into a new European launch option, alongside the broad range of providers CST already works with worldwide.
“We are delighted to formalize this partnership with INNOSPACE and strengthen Europe’s access to competitive, dependable launch opportunities,” said Alan Webb, Managing Director at CST. “By combining our long-standing expertise in launch brokerage with INNOSPACE’s rapidly advancing technology, we aim to deliver greater flexibility, transparency, and mission assurance for Europe’s growing small satellite community.”
“While demand for small satellite launches in Europe is growing rapidly, customers are increasingly seeking flexibility in launch schedules and orbital options, yet the number of reliable launch service providers remains limited,” said Soojong Kim, Founder and CEO of INNOSPACE. “Through this distribution agreement with CST, INNOSPACE will strategically target the European small satellite launch market with differentiated launch solutions and deliver customized, reliability-driven launch services that meet customer needs.”
With demand continuing to outpace available European launch capacity, agreements like this help ensure CST’s customers have more options when planning their missions.
